- Mandatory professional certification under AMF General Regulation Article 313-7 for ~12 functions including: Vendeur (sales), Gérant (PM), Analyste financier, Compensateur, Négociateur d'instruments financiers, Responsable post-marché, Responsable de la conformité (RCSI)
- Two routes: (1) Pass the AMF exam (delivered by certified organisations: AFG, AFTI, CFAF Centre de Formation de l'AMF, ESBanque, ENASS, AFB, etc.); OR (2) Recognition via accredited diploma/qualification programs (HEC, Sciences Po, ESCP, Dauphine, ESSEC, EM Lyon, Kedge plus CFA/CIIA partial bridging)
- Exam ~120 MCQ, 2 hours, French language, ~70% passing threshold
- Programmes typically eligible for CPF (Compte Personnel de Formation) funding
- Recertification: No formal exam renewal but employer-led continuous training
